Four promising undefeated fighters are featured in tonight’s boxing show at the Irvine Marriott.
In the main event, Azusa super featherweight Ricardo Fuentes (13-0, six knockouts) takes on Sergio Macias (10-7, four knockouts) of Pacoima in a 10-round bout. Fuentes, who recently signed a five-fight deal with Marriott promoter Roy Englebrecht, defeated Macias in a close decision two years ago.
Long Beach welterweight Raul Franco (3-0, three knockouts), who hasn’t fought in four months while searching for a long-term promotional deal, will face Miguel Avila (1-0-1) of Chino in a four-rounder.
In two more four-round fights, lightweight Nacho Navarro (5-0, three knockouts) of Los Angeles faces Jose Luis Cruz and super flyweight Pedro Pena (4-0, four knockouts) of Los Angeles fights Joey Garcia (1-0-1) of Modesto.
Pena, 18, won the national Golden Gloves championship in 1995 and earned a berth on the 1996 U.S. Olympic team.
The undercard begins at 7:30. Tickets are priced at $25, $30 and $35.
