Fullerton 2, Buena Park 1--Losing pitcher Alicia Davison pitched a no-hitter, but five errors led to both unearned runs.
In the Academy League:
St. Margaret’s 5, Connelly 1--Amber Arnold scored twice and struck out 13 batters for St. Margaret’s (11-4, 3-0).
In the Century League:
Foothill 2, El Modena 1--Lauren Schwendimann relieved Lindsay Fossatti with the bases loaded in the fifth and got a crucial strikeout to hold off El Modena. Foothill (18-2-1, 3-0) scored twice in the first on Jaime Clark’s RBI double and Fossatti’s RBI single.
In the Empire League:
Kennedy 7, Loara 0--Nicole Crouse (5-3) pitched a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts for No. 9 Kennedy (13-5, 3-0).
In the Garden Grove League:
Santiago 10, Los Amigos 0 (5, mercy)--Erica Pilkington pitched a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts for Santiago (9-11, 3-3).
In the Olympic League:
Orange Lutheran 5, Cerritos Valley Christian 2--Tiffany Johnson pitched a three-hitter and struck out 12 for Orange Lutheran (8-7, 2-1). Jenny Miklos had three hits.
In the Pacific Coast League:
Laguna Hills 6, Laguna Beach 0--Stephanie Bisera and Kim Stryker combined on a no-hitter, and Meghan O’Donnell had three hits, scored once and drove in two for Laguna Hills (10-7, 3-0).
University 1, Costa Mesa 0--Libee Hansen’s RBI double led University (5-14, 2-1).
In the Sunset League:
Esperanza 4, Huntington Beach 0--Megan Daniel had three hits and three RBIs, including a home run and triple, for Esperanza (10-6, 2-1).
Los Alamitos 1, Marina 0 (10 innings)--Sara Kahler’s one-out single in the bottom of the 10th scored Kristin Farber from third to give No. 8 Los Alamitos (13-5, 3-0) sole possession of first place. Mandy Rockwell pitched a three-hitter with 15 strikeouts and two walks. Marina is 9-8-1, 2-1.
