Thousand Oaks High faces Simi Valley today...

Thousand Oaks High faces Simi Valley today at 3:30 p.m. with the Marmonte League softball lead on the line at the Thousand Oaks Community Center Park.

The Lancers (12-2, 6-1 in league play) are atop the league standings, with the Pioneers (12-3, 5-2) right behind.

Simi Valley won, 1-0, in the teams’ first meeting on March 18 when Thousand Oaks left-hander Jennifer Sharron (9-2, 0.18 earned-run average) walked in the winning run in the eighth inning.
