Canyon 16, El Modena 2--Jeff Leuenberger pitched five innings, scattering three hits and striking out nine, to pick up his 30th career victory. Tommy Duarte had three hits and two RBIs for the ninth-ranked Comanches (18-5, 10-2).

Jason Corapci had two doubles and two RBIs for Canyon.

Foothill 15, Santa Ana Valley 5--Chad Concolino was four for four with two doubles and a triple, and Josh Arhart had a grand slam in the eight-run fourth inning for eighth-ranked Foothill (18-4, 12-0). Joe Barboza hit his eighth homer of the season for Santa Ana Valley (10-12, 3-9).

Villa Park 9, Orange 8--Matt Boone and Matt Swearingen each hit their first home run of the year as Villa Park defeated Orange (8-14, 5-7). Robbie McConchie had three hits for Villa Park (9-13, 5-7).

Laguna Beach 4, Estancia 0--Raymie Amador was two for three, including a double, with two RBIs for Laguna Beach (9-13, 4-8).

Micha Grant pitched his first complete game, striking out four and holding Estancia (3-17-1, 1-10-1) to four hits.

University 9, Aliso Niguel 3--Garrett Atkins pitched his second consecutive complete game, giving up three runs on eight hits for University (16-7, 9-3). The Trojans have now won 11 of their last 14 games. League-leading Aliso Niguel is 15-7, 10-2.
