Share

Opponent--Indiana Twisters

Site--Market Square Arena, Indianapolis

Time--4:30

Records--Twisters 1-2, Splash 1-1.

Splash update--Anaheim is looking to rebound from the 9-6 loss Sunday to unbeaten Seattle. Getting five first-half penalties, and giving up four goals in the first period were key reasons for the defeat. Midfielder Danny Barber has scored two short-handed goals in the two Splash games. He now has eight in his career, making him the Continental Indoor Soccer League’s all-time leader in that category. Barber and midfielder Armando Valdivia lead the Splash in scoring with five points each.

Twister update--Indiana comes into tonight’s game minus three regulars. Midfielder Alejandro Moreno and defender Joe Callahan are serving one-game suspensions after getting red cards in the Sacramento and Dallas games respectively. Defender Rich Ryerson sustained a concussion in the Sacramento game and has not yet been medically cleared to play. Mariano Bollella leads the team in scoring with five points. Last Sunday in Dallas, Bollella was held scoreless, ending a streak of 31 consecutive games with at least a goal or an assist.
