WOMEN
Pepperdine 64, Cal State Fullerton 58--With her team holding a one-point lead with three-and-a-half minutes to play, Jennifer Saari scored seven consecutive points to lead Pepperdine. Saari, a former Brea Olinda standout, finished with 10 points and Angie White, a graduate of Capistrano Valley, scored 12 points for Pepperdine (4-1).
Erin Whiteside scored 18 points and had 11 rebounds for CS Fullerton (1-4). Kris Sigg scored 14 points for the Titans.
