San Fernando 72, Monroe 70--Junior guard Devin Montgomery lifted the Tigers with a shot from four feet with three seconds left in the third overtime at Monroe.

Monroe’s Damien Ritter, who had 19 points and six assists, hit three-pointers at the end of the first and second overtimes to extend the game.

Victor Hall had 22 points, while Ricardo Godoy added 10 for Monroe, which trailed, 40-29, after three quarters.

Mike Page had 19 points and Trone Purnell added 17 and 12 rebounds for the Tigers, who played with six players from the final three minutes of regulation after Luis De La Rosa fouled out.

Venice 82, Sherman Oaks CES 77--Lawrence Lowe scored 28 points and Jonathan Melendez added 17 for the Knights at Venice.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Sherman Oaks CES 55, Reseda 34--Neysa Guerrero had 13 points but the short-handed Regents fell at Reseda.

Reseda played without center Isabel Renteria, who has an injured ankle.
