1998 Titan Baseball Schedule Set

The Cal State Fullerton baseball team will open its 1998 season Jan. 30 at home against California, and will also play three-game series against Stanford and Alabama, teams that reached the College World Series last season.

The Titans will play Feb. 6-8 at Stanford, where Fullerton was eliminated in three games in the NCAA West Regional last season. The series against Alabama will be Feb. 27-March 1 at Titan Field.

Fullerton also will play midweek games, one at home and another on the road, against UCLA, which also reached the 1997 College World Series.

Big West Conference play begins March 6 at home against UC Santa Barbara.

An exhibition game against the Angels is planned for March 30.
