Heritage Christian makes the leap to 11-man football after 37 years of fielding six- and eight-man teams The Patriots got a taste of 11-man football with two exhibition games last season, winning them both. Caffrey, who came from Whittier Christian two years ago, is five victories away from his 200th career victory. Heritage returns four all-league selections in Caffrey, Hancock, Myrtle and Somerville. Paul Caffrey, the coach’s son, was an all-section selection last season.
