VOLLEYBALL

Event: Volleyball clinic with Pat Powers, USC men’s coach. Day: Sunday, Sept. 28. Time: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Site: Irvine Sport Center, 15041 Bake Parkway #F. Fee: $60 for advance reservations. Basics: Powers, who played for the gold medal-winning 1984 U.S. Olympic team, will conduct clinic for junior and advanced players.
