Ermolenko Takes First in Speedway Main Event
COSTA MESA —
Charles Ermolenko of Cypress won the four-lap scratch main event of the weekly speedway motorcycle racing program in front of 6,218 Saturday night at the Orange County Fairgrounds.
Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano was second and Shawn McConnell of Brea third.
Ed Castro of Ojai won the eight-lap handicap main event with Brian Pappalardo of Westminster second and McConnell third.
