Dana Hills 3, Magnolia 1--Matt DuHadway , Steve Jennings and Bryan Johnson scored for Dana Hills in the third-place victory. Ricky Garcia had five saves for the Dolphins (5-5-2). In an earlier third-round game, Dana Hills missed advancing to the championship final as the Dolphins fell to Cerritos, 1-0.

In another tournament game:

Kennedy 3, Orange Lutheran 0--David Kelemen, Brad Stear and Alvan Alvarez scored for Kennedy to take fifth place. Steven Gray had two saves for Kennedy (8-2-1).

In nonleague boys’ soccer:

Santa Ana 2, Century 0--Elpon Monterrosa scored the first goal and assisted on Isreal Lazo’s second-half goal to lift Santa Ana (3-1-3). Host Century is 5-3-3.

Servite 1, Mater Dei 0--Javier Vallejo, assisted by Ricky Austin, scored in the 73rd minute. James Towers, with six saves, earned his fifth shutout of the season.

In the Clairmont girls’ soccer tournament:

Brea Olinda 0, Rancho Cucamonga 0 (Brea wins on penalty kicks, 4-3)--Kelly Nakagawa slipped the ball past Rancho Cucamonga goalie Stacy Holgate into the corner of the net for the shootout win in the consolation final. Kim Becher, who blocked one of Rancho’s shootout kicks, had five saves for the shutout. Brea Olinda is 6-3-2. In an earlier consolation game, Brea Olinda defeated, Villa Park, 3-0.

In the Corona Centennial girls’ soccer tournament:

Laguna Hills 1, Etiwanda 1 (Laguna Hills wins on penalty kicks, 3-1)--Laguna Hills won the championship after goalkeeper Heather Shelton stopped two shots and Etiwanda hit the post on another in the shootout. The Hawks (13-2) had tied the score with five minutes remaining in regulation.

In an earlier 1-0 semifinal victory over Corona Centennial, Kate Kosciuk scored the only goal in the first half for Laguna Hills.

In the Santa Ana City girls’ soccer tournament:

Santa Ana Valley 0, Saddleback 0 (Valley wins on penalty kicks, 5-3)--Sharmaine Kendrick had seven saves, including one in the shootout, to lead Santa Ana Valley to the title. The Falcons (6-3-1) avenged a 1-0 loss to Saddleback in a pool-play game earlier in the day.

In nonleague girls’ soccer:

Aliso Niguel 2, Fountain Valley 1--Melissa Matsuda gave Fountain Valley a 1-0 lead early in the second half, but goals by Kim Devine in the 69th minute and Liz Lunah with five minutes remaining gave Aliso Niguel (5-2-2) the victory.

Esperanza 1, Santa Margarita 1--The Aztecs (4-3-4) tied the score in the 70th minute when Santa Margarita goalkeeper Julie Peterson tried to clear the ball, but it ricocheted off Esperanza’s Gina Salinas and into the net.

Rebecca Mildrew scored in the first half for visiting Santa Margarita (2-4-1).

Loara 8, Savanna 0--Lauren Lappin and Ana Medina scored two goals each for Loara (7-0).
