Community Satisfaction Is High, Survey Finds

Share

Two-thirds of Long Beach residents believe the city is “headed in the right direction,” according to a survey of public attitudes about city government and issues facing the city.

Residents listed personal safety, education and culture, and neighborhood upkeep as the top three quality of life issues they want the city to focus on.

“The community scan survey is the first step in a four-step process that will produce the city’s next strategic plan designed to take us well into the next century,” City Manager James Hankla said.
