North Hollywood 62, Banning 49--Claudia Villa had 18 points and 15 rebounds for the Huskies (14-1).

Tasha Allen scored 22 for the Pilots (7-7), but only three other players scored for Banning.

The Huskies outscored Banning, 18-9, in the second quarter, and the North Hollywood reserves closed out the third quarter with a 12-0 run.

Glendale 57, Canyon 54--Alina Markari had 15 points and six assists for the Dynamiters (9-6), who rallied in the fourth quarter at Glendale. Janette Garcia had 21 points for Canyon (7-9).

Paraclete 49, Quartz Hill 32--Freshman guard Jackie Kolesar had 23 points, nine rebounds, five steals and four assists for the Spirits (9-2) at Quartz Hill.

Burroughs 50, Village Christian 40--JoAnna Garrick had 13 points and six rebounds for the Indians (10-4).

Jenny Lee Greslie scored 21 points for the Crusaders.

Valencia 78, Monroe 38--Alissa McMurrin had 16 points and nine rebounds and Emilie Dearborn added 13 points for Valencia (11-4) at Valencia.

Royal 57, Agoura 28--Kristen Galbreath had 16 points and five rebounds for the Highlanders (14-1, 3-0 in Marmonte League play) at Royal.

Alicia Weber had 15 points and six assists for the Highlanders.

BOYS

Newbury Park 79, Channel Islands 69--Daniel Bobik had 21 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists for the Panthers (11-4, 2-0) in a Marmonte League game at Newbury Park.

Dwight Sattiewhite scored 19 for Channel Islands (10-3, 1-2).

Montclair Prep 66, Milken 43--Rocky Steryo scored 18 points and Kevin Bentley had 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Mounties (13-3).

Moorpark 87, Saugus 72--Kevin Lawrence had 24 points and nine rebounds, and Byron Burnett had 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Musketeers (13-4) at Moorpark.

Agoura 69, Royal 65--Dusty Cruz had 28 points but the Highlanders lost a Marmonte League game at Agoura.

Marcus Helfman scored 21 points for Agoura (8-4, 6-2).

Santa Paula 67, Fillmore 60--Joey Riccio scored 24 points for the Cardinals (11-4) at Santa Paula.

Jesus Jasso and Mario Galvez each scored 18 points for the Flashes (10-5).

St. Bonaventure 51, Nordhoff 45--The Seraphs (9-5) hit six free throws in the final two minutes to hold off the Rangers at Nordhoff.

David Chaparro scored 13 points for St. Bonaventure (9-5).

Andy Flores had 22 points and 15 rebounds for Nordhoff (7-6).

San Gabriel 50, Burbank 40--Vardan Mkhitarian and Eric Brower each scored 10 points for the Bulldogs, who missed Juni Williams at San Gabriel.

Williams, who is academically ineligible, was averaging 20 points a game for Burbank (3-11).

Compton 81, Hoover 61--Mark Hull had 30 points and 12 rebounds but the Tornadoes (10-5) fell at Hoover.
