Classes Give Tips on Avoiding Scams
The Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center is offering classes on how senior citizens can protect themselves from scam artists.
The free class, “Frauds, Scams and Rip-Offs,” is aimed at teaching senior citizens the ins and outs of the con games most frequently used by swindlers, center officials said.
The class will be offered from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursdays at the center, 340 W. Commonwealth Ave.
