Five Soccer Games Postponed

Thursday’s scheduled girls’ soccer game between top-ranked Capistrano Valley and No. 6 Mater Dei was among five postponed because of wet grounds. Capistrano Valley will host the Monarchs for their South Coast League matchup Monday afternoon.
Other games rescheduled to Monday: El Modena at Santa Ana Valley, Dana Hills at San Clemente and Rosary vs. Westminster at Cal State Fullerton. If it rains Monday, the Rosary-Westminster game will be played at Westminster High.
Aliso Niguel will host Costa Mesa on Feb. 9.
