Brian Malchow hit a grand slam for Cal Lutheran in a 26-4 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference baseball victory at Caltech on Friday.
Clint Britt tripled twice for the Kingsmen (11-2, 9-1 in conference play).
Oral Roberts 14, CS Northridge 7--Jamie Hay homered for the Matadors (11-15) at the Las Vegas Tournament.
SOFTBALL
Azusa Pacific 2-9, Cal Lutheran 0-5--The Cougars (8-6) scored seven runs in the seventh inning of the second game to overcome a 5-2 deficit and sweep a nonconference doubleheader at Cal Lutheran (5-9).
MEN’S VOLLEYBALL
Pierce d. Grossmont, 15-11, 8-15, 12-15, 16-14, 15-7--Dragon Ognjanovic had 20 kills for the Brahmas (7-0) in a nonconference victory at Pierce.
WOMEN’S TENNIS
Occidental 5, Cal Lutheran 4--Jill Embree accounted for two of the Regals’ points in a SCIAC defeat at Occidental.
