* Southern Section Boys’ Relays, Long Beach Belmont Plaza Pool, 7 tonight: With the club season also under way, many of the teams will be competing without their top swimmers. Nevertheless, relay action is expected to be fast and furious during the two-hour event. Look for Irvine, Mission Viejo, Villa Park and Foothill to battle for the title.
