Valley 56, Compton 22--Milton Wynn caught four touchdown passes and the Monarchs (4-3, 3-1) rallied from a 14-0 first-quarter deficit in a WSC Southern Division game at Valley.

Wynn’s 40-yard reception from Eric Holtfreter in the first quarter ignited a 42-point explosion by Valley. Jason Portee’s one-yard run gave the Monarchs a 21-14 lead at the half. Holtfreter completed 15 of 21 passes for 240 yards and three touchdowns.

Valley outgained Compton (0-7, 0-4), 221 yards to 88 in the second half. Wynn had seven receptions for 164 yards.

Wynn caught a 14-yard touchdown pass from backup quarterback Travis Winn in the fourth quarter.
