After a summer of serving their community, three lucky teens became all-stars.

Ginny Gunnels, 16, of Camarillo, Danielle Holm, 17, of Somis and Cristen Ferguson, 15, of Ventura will all serve one term as Ventura County 4-H Youth Development Program All-Stars for their outstanding job as role models in the community.

The criteria for the 4-H Youth award are based not only on the youths’ character, but their effect on younger members in the club.

Ginny, who attends Rio Mesa High School, in addition to her church work, is interested in sewing and floriculture.
