Whittier 32, La Canada 3--Conor Scott rushed for 205 yards in 33 carries and scored on runs of five, five and 11 yards for Whittier at California High.
Rocky Paneno’s 64-yard punt return in the first quarter set up Chris Stone’s 37-yard field goal for La Canada.
La Canada’s Nathan Dane completed four of 19 passes for 69 yards. The Spartans were held to 35 yards in the first half and 101 overall.
