In outlasting Clovis West, 21-14, on Saturday, the Monarchs displayed their usual offensive balance: Junior Palacios rushed for 168 yards and quarterback Scott Lukash threw for 169. Kelvin Millhouse, a transfer from Fountain Valley, had six receptions for 109 yards. St. John Bosco beat Lakewood Mayfair, 14-13, last week in Kiki Mendoza’s coaching debut.
