Pomona Man Shot, Killed While Pumping Gas
A man filling up his car at a Pomona gas station was shot and killed early Sunday after a confrontation with one or more people who drove up in another car, a police lieutenant said.
The attack happened about 2:46 a.m. at an Arco gas station and mini-market on Reservoir Street. Police identified the victim as Albert Orosco, 31, of Pomona.
“The victim was pumping gas,” said Lt. Charles Watts, of the Pomona Police Department. “A car pulled up and he was shot.”
Watts added: “We have no motive. We don’t know if it was gang-related.”
