In the Anaheim boys’ basketball tournament:

No. 7 El Toro 57, Katella 55 (OT)--Katella’s Marcus Espinosa made a basket in the last second to send the game into overtime. Ashkan Nazeri made two free throws at the end of overtime to give El Toro the win. El Toro’s Chris Parish was the high scorer with 20 points, including four three-point baskets, and Nazeri added 13 for the Chargers. Espinosa was the high scorer for Katella with 15.

No. 10 San Clemente 59, Bolsa Grande 48--Brian George scored 13 points for San Clemente, despite missing most of the second and third quarters after taking an elbow to the jaw. Gray Garrett had 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Tritons (6-1).

Newport Harbor 60, Foothill 47--Dustin Illingworth scored 29 points and Aaron Yarnal added 21 for Newport Harbor. Zach Smith and Alex Rasmussen each scored 11 for host Foothill.

In the Irvine World News tournament:

Dana Hills 58, Huntington Beach 57--Tom Newidouski made a two-point shot in the fourth period to give Dana Hills (3-5) a 58-54 lead. Mike Sanders made a three-pointer with 1.2 seconds left to bring Huntington Beach (1-6) within one.

Estancia 60, Woodbridge 54--After playing to a 39-39 tie at the end of three quarters, Jason Simco scored 14 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter, including two three-pointers, to lead Estancia (5-2) to the win and into the semifinals Friday.

In the Troy/Sunny Hills boys’ basketball tournament:

Century 42, Cerritos Valley Christian 40--Chris Ferretti scored 13 points for Century (4-1), which led by six after three quarters.
