Jennifer Lacy, daughter of former professional baseball player Lee Lacy, is quickly making her own name in girls’ basketball.

Lacy had 21 points and 10 rebounds for Agoura High in a 48-37 victory over Glendale in a Burroughs tournament pool-play game Thursday night at Burroughs High.

That followed a 31-point performance in a 55-41 victory over North Hollywood on Wednesday.

“She’s big-time,” Coach Rich Allen of North Hollywood said. “She’s not going to be a secret for too long.”

Lacy scored four consecutive points to end the third quarter as Agoura (6-2) forged a 32-32 tie.

In the fourth quarter, she fueled a 7-0 run with a steal and a basket and iced the game with a turn-around jumper and two free throws in the final 45 seconds.

“I’m playing good but I’m planning on getting even better,” Lacy said.
