In the Reebok Holiday Classic games in Las Vegas:

Phoenix St. Marys 76, Sylmar 53--John Valdez scored 12 points but the Spartans lost in the first round of Silver Cup division play.

Newbury Park 54, Las Vegas Rancho 37--Shane Hosac had 20 points, including four three-pointers, and Will Svitek had 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Panthers (4-2) in the first round of the Silver Cup division.

Harvard-Westlake 65, McQueen (Nev.) 64--John Karavas of Harvard-Westlake hit a 12-foot jump shot from the baseline at the buzzer to force overtime in the first round of the Silver Cup division.

Russell Lakey had 16 points and Karavas finished with 14 for Harvard-Westlake (5-1), which scored the last eight points in overtime.

Simi Valley 87, Lexington (S.C.) 67--Branduinn Fullove had 24 points and nine rebounds for the Pioneers (6-0) in the first-round Gold Cup division game.

Brett Michel had 19 points and eight rebounds for the Pioneers, who were 36 of 63 from the field.

Smokey Hill (Colorado) 77, Montclair Prep 64--Josiah Johnson had 29 points and 11 rebounds but the Mounties lost in the first round of the Bronze Cup competition.

Will Sheslow had 10 points and six assists for Montclair Prep (5-2).

North Hollywood 66, Las Vegas Silverado 63--Nathan Stern made four of North Hollywood’s six free throws during a first-round Bronze Cup game. Stern had 13 points and seven assists.

Ken Hauser scored 13 of his 19 points in the first half for North Hollywood (6-1).

David Danipour had all of his 10 points and nine rebounds during the last 12 minutes.

Reno (Nev.) Galena 53, Campbell Hall 39--Jesse Foster scored 24 points on 11 of 16 shooting for Campbell Hall (7-3) in the first round of the Bronze Cup division.

In other games:

Westlake 80, Kau (Hawaii) 32--Adam Mazarei scored 14 points and Tyler Adamczyk had 10 in the Warriors’ semifinal victory in the Kona (Hawaii) tournament.

Westlake (6-3) defeated Silver Valley, 78-57, in a quarterfinal earlier in the day as Kole Anderson had 21 points and six steals.

Warren 56, Chaminade 47--Ryan Arceo scored 20 points and Scott Borchart had 17, but the Eagles were 15 of 55 from the field in losing the third-place game of the Sonora tournament.

GIRLS

Burroughs 50, Agoura 41--Shana Zaidi and Gracie Coronado each scored 16 points to lead Burroughs in the championship game of its tournament.

Zaidi, a freshman guard, scored all of her points in the second half and made 10 of 10 free throws.

Zaidi committed three personal fouls in the first five minutes and sat out the rest of the half. But her replacement, Jodi Gibbs, hit a clutch three-pointer with three minutes left to cap a 12-0 run that gave Burroughs (9-2) a 45-37 lead.

Coronado, a sophomore forward, had 10 rebounds six steals.

Jennifer Lacey, who scored 83 points in four games during the tournament, had 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Chargers (7-3).

Glendale 62, Thousand Oaks 31--Seda Gracoryan scored 14 points and Hilary Driffill had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Dynamiters (6-4) in the third-place game of the Burroughs tournament.

Lea Adlman scored 13 points for the Lancers (4-6).
