Santa Barbara 2, Buena 1--Chris Parkin scored in the 58th minute to tie the score, but the second-ranked Bulldogs (12-3-3, 1-1-1) fell in a Channel League game at Santa Barbara (14-3-3, 3-0).

Rio Mesa 2, Ventura 0--Ivan Medina scored two goals and the No. 5-ranked Spartans (11-3-4) posted their fourth consecutive shutout in a nonleague game at Rio Mesa.

Buena 1, Santa Barbara 0--J.J. Toohey’s intended cross from the right wing slipped inside the left post from 15 yards in the 34th minute and the Bulldogs (14-2-1, 3-0) solidifed their hold on first place in the Channel League by defeating Santa Barbara (10-4-2, 0-2) at Buena.

Quartz Hill 1, Highland 0--Kellie Cox scored in the 30th minute for the Rebels (8-4-3, 3-0) in a Golden League game at Highland (7-7-1, 2-1).
