Pavlik, who is also playing on a club volleyball team, has been a standout defensively for the Monarchs this season. But last week she showed her offensive prowess, totaling 33 points, while adding 33 rebounds in three big victories. They included upsets of second-ranked Edison and fifth-ranked San Clemente. Her six steals against the Tritons played a major role in the victory.
