Lancaster Loses Wild One in Ninth, 7-6
Gary Thomas scored on a one-out wild pitch by Justin Kaye in the ninth inning to give Modesto a 7-6 victory over Lancaster on Friday night in front of 2,657 at John Thurman Field.
Jermaine Clark’s three-run home run in the seventh gave the JetHawks (34-65, 11-18 in the second half) a 6-2 lead, but Jeff Farnsworth and Kaye combined to blow a late lead for the second time in three games.
