Titans Get Tripped by Money-Hungry NCAA
Once again the NCAA (National Cash Acquisition Assn.) has chosen short-term monetary gain over fairness and justice. Since 1.) Cal State Fullerton was seeded No. 3 in the 64-team college baseball playoff field; 2.) Fullerton is ranked above Ohio State in every college baseball poll; 3.) Fullerton has never hosted even one NCAA playoff game in 20-plus years of advancing to the playoffs, and 4.) Ohio State just hosted a regional last week, the right thing to do would’ve been to let Fullerton host the super-regional against Ohio State this weekend. But apparently the NCAA has chosen money over fairness.
