It will be business as usual for Pete Boothroyd on his last day today as Brea Olinda Unified’s assistant superintendent of personnel: He will spend it hard at work. “The good thing . . . is that whatever is not completed will be turned over to someone else,” said Boothroyd, who worked in the district for 24 years. He is leaving the small district of nine schools to step into a similar position at Garden Grove Unified School District.
