Kennedy 12, Westchester 11--Jeremy Serr’s run-scoring triple in the seventh broke an 11-11 tie and Juan Sepulveda pitched out of a jam in the bottom of the inning to lift the No. 10-seeded Golden Cougars (17-15) to an upset at No. 7 Westchester (22-8).

With runners on first and second, Sepulveda induced Jerry Alexander into a game-ending grounder back to the pitcher.

Danny Mata of Kennedy hit a three-run home run to tie the score, 10-10, in the sixth. Sepulveda also hit a three-run home run.

Poly 10, Marshall 0--George Felix had four hits, including a home run in the the sixth, for the third-seeded Parrots (23-7) in a game at Poly called after six innings because of the 10-run rule.

Carlos Reguengo (12-2) and Manny Flores combined on a three-hitter. Reguengo struck out four in three innings and Flores threw three innings of hitless relief.

Jaime Perez and Eder Tapia each had two hits for Poly, which will host El Camino Real on Thursday.

El Camino 17, Narbonne 7--Conor Jackson had a grand slam and six runs batted in, and Brian Somoza also had a grand slam for the two-time defending champion Conquistadores at El Camino Real.

Scott Gilmore had two doubles, a single and two RBIs the No. 6-seeded Conquistadores (20-6).

Roosevelt 7, Sylmar 2--The Spartans (19-8) were eliminated at Roosevelt (19-4), which will play Chatsworth on Thursday.

CITY DIVISION

Reseda 10, Hamilton 2--Leo Rosales hit a three-run home run in the first and finished with three hits and five RBIs for the Regents (18-10) at Reseda.

Rosales (12-2) struck out four in four innings.

Cleveland 6, Monroe 2--Jason Wigginton pitched a three-hitter and struck out seven to help the Cavaliers win at Cleveland (12-15).

Sophomore Andrew Strickland hit a two-run home run for the Cavaliers.

Monroe finished 10-18.

Huntington Park 5, Birmingham 4--Birmingham (13-17) gave up three runs in the bottom of the seventh.
