Ocean View, Santa Ana Make Playoffs
Ocean View won a coin flip Friday and the Seahawks and Santa Ana will advance to the Southern Section Division VI football playoffs, while Westminster was the odd team out.
The three schools tied for second place in the Golden West League with 2-2 records.
Ocean View won a coin flip Friday for the league’s No. 2 seeding, and Santa Ana advanced as the third team because of its 34-20 victory Thursday over Westminster (5-5), which is left to hope for an at-large berth.
