Cleveland Rocks Chatsworth
James Bethea scored five touchdowns, including a 98-yard return of the opening kickoff, and Cleveland High handed Chatsworth its worst loss of the season, 61-0, Friday in a West Valley League game at Cleveland.
Bethea rushed for 185 yards in 16 carries and scored on runs of 32, two, one, and 60 yards for the Cavaliers (3-4, 1-1 in league play).
Quarterback Eddie Whitaker completed seven of 10 passes for 166 yards including scoring strikes of 31, 26 and 20 yards to Matthew Clark, Edwin Roberson and Ontae Chaney.
USC-bound quarterback Matt Cassel of Chatsworth (2-5, 1-1) endured his worst outing of the season, completing 13 of 29 passes for 138 yards and an interception. Chatsworth receivers dropped seven passes and Cassel was sacked six times.
