Palmdale Improves, But Still Winless
Palmdale was one of the preseason favorites in the Golden League, but the Falcons are 0-3 after losses to Barstow, Kennedy and Bloomington.
Things don’t get any easier this week with a nonleague game against Hart (3-0), but Coach Jeff Williams is optimistic after a strong offensive effort in a 52-46 loss to three-time Southern Section champion Bloomington.
“I’m hoping that was our coming-out game,” he said.
Palmdale will get a boost with the return of defensive lineman Isahak Esralian and offensive lineman Billy Baker.
Esralian sat out the last game after being ejected two weeks ago. Baker was out because of a sprained wrist.
