Levine Sinks Putt, Calabasas Sinks Servite

Aaron Levine sank a two-foot putt for par on the 18th hole to give Calabasas High its second boys’ golf victory this season over powerful Servite, 389-390, on Wednesday at Calabasas Country Club.

Levine finished with a two-over-par 74 and Justin Ohye fired a 72 for the Coyotes (10-1), ranked No. 2 in the region by The Times.

Ryan Cole fired a 74 and Nico Bollini shot 75 for Servite (10-2), which was the 1999 CIF-SCGA High School Invitational runner-up and is ranked No. 1 in Orange County by The Times.

Crescenta Valley 203, San Marino 216--Nathan Soule shot one-over-par 37 at Santa Anita Golf Course for the Falcons (19-1) in a nonleague victory.

BOYS’ TENNIS

Burbank 15, Campbell Hall 3--Tigran Martirosyan (31-1) swept at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-0, 6-0, for the Bulldogs (13-1) in a nonleague victory at Burbank.

Notre Dame 12, Canyon 6--Ted Hall lost only three games at No. 1 singles and the Knights (8-6) won a nonleague match at Canyon.

Dos Pueblos 10, Agoura 8--The Chargers’ top singles player and doubles team swept their opponents, but their teammates won only two of the other 12 sets in a nonleague match at Agoura.

Tim Mullane of Agoura swept his opponents, 6-4, 7-6 (8-6), 6-0. Greg McNamee and Dave Cox swept, 6-0, 7-5, 6-3, for Agoura (9-4).

Dos Pueblos is 7-4.

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL

Westlake def. Newbury Park, 15-12, 15-9, 17-15--Wade Carr had 11 kills and seven digs, and the Warriors (12-2, 7-2) won a Marmonte League game at Newbury Park.

Providence def. Glendale Adventist, 15-5, 15-8, 15-6--Eric Vaca had 15 kills and 16 digs, and Graig Keklikian added 14 kills and 16 digs to lead the Pioneers (12-2) to a non-league victory at Providence.

Danny Huynh had 25 assists, and nine digs and Kyle Vander-Borght added seven digs and 19 assists for Providence (12-2).

BOYS’ TRACK

Rio Mesa 76, Hueneme 51--Brian Tillquist and Phillip Reid each won two events and the Spartans (7-0, 4-0) clinched the Pacific League dual-meet championship at Rio Mesa.

Tillquist led a Rio Mesa sweep in the 110-meter high hurdles, winning in 15.6 seconds. He also won the 300 intermediate hurdles in 41.8.

Reid won the 1,600 in 4:31.4 and the 3,200 in 10:10.9.

Sprinters Julian Gooden, Keary Colbert and Patrick Wetzel kept Hueneme in the meet.

Gooden won the 100 in 10.7, Colbert took the 200 in 22.0 and Wetzel won the 400 in 51.8.

The Vikings, who also won the 400 relay in 42.9, took 24 of the 27 points available from 100 to 400 meters.

GIRLS’ TRACK

Rio Mesa 103, Hueneme 24--Porchea Carroll won three events and the Spartans (7-0, 4-0) wrapped up the Pacific League dual meet title at Rio Mesa.

Carroll had a season-best leap of 18 feet, 10 inches in the long jump and added victories in the 100 in 12.0 and the 400 in 59.0.
