Lancaster Overpowers High Desert

Juan Silvestre, Craig Kuzmic and Antonio Perez hit home runs for Lancaster on Saturday night in a 6-0 victory over High Desert in front of 4,370 at Adelanto.
Chris Mears, Cody Morrison, Allan Simpson and Brandon Parker combined on a six-hitter for the JetHawks (84-49, 44-19). Mears (11-8) allowed four hits in 5 1/3 innings with two walks and two strikeouts.
Silvestre’s 28th home run was a two-run shot in the sixth inning.
Josh Glassey doubled in the seventh for the Mavericks (47-87, 24-40).
