Saugus 61, Royal 42--Elliot Behar scored 13 points to help the Centurions (4-3) win in the Oak Park tournament.

Robert Davis scored 12 points for the Highlanders (0-5).

Alemany 55, Hueneme 44--Evan Cline scored 21 points and Gabriel Zamora added 17 for the Indians (2-3) in the Oak Park tournament.

Richard Jones scored 11 points for the Vikings (2-4).

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Valencia 50, North Hollywood 48-- Marissa Meadows’ layup with 2.5 seconds left pulled out a victory in the Burroughs tournament.

North Hollywood (4-3) went on a 10-0 run, tying the score on two free throws by Kaipresha Price with 33.2 seconds remaining.

Richelle Sherman had 19 points for the Huskies.

Stephanie Patterson finished with 14 points, and Valerie Pina and Meadows had 11 points each for Valencia (6-1).

Glendale 65, Burroughs 62--Despite playing the final nine seconds with only four players after Melina Shaverdian fouled out, Glendale (2-4) held on in the Burroughs tournament. Arpi Babakhanian finished with 18 points for Glendale and Danica Cunningham led Burroughs (1-5) with 21 points.

Chatsworth 61, Hoover 36--Liz Sun and Ashley Shelton each scored 16 points for the Chancellors in a victory in pool play at the Burroughs tournament.

Lindsey Eichler had 12 points and 12 rebounds for Chatsworth (5-2).
