Rio Mesa 40, Oxnard 33--Maribel Ambriz and Kylynne Thiong combined to make seven of eight free throws in the final minute of the Spartans’ victory in a Pacific View League game at Rio Mesa (10-12, 4-2). Sarah Wilkins had 10 points and 13 rebounds for Oxnard (18-6, 6-1), ranked No. 6 by The Times.
Notre Dame 102, Flintridge Sacred Heart 37--Sierra Hauser-Price had 29 points and Trisha Gonzalez scored 22 for the Knights (14-7, 5-3) in a Mission League game at Flintridge Sacred Heart.
Buena 69, Dos Pueblos 33--Courtney LaVere scored 24 points for the Bulldogs (20-4, 6-0), who won their 72nd consecutive Channel League game at Dos Pueblos.
Ventura 53, Santa Barbara 40--Alex Gientke scored 21 points for the Cougars (22-1, 6-1), ranked No. 2, in a Channel League victory at Santa Barbara.
