Louisville Pulls Out a 1-1 Tie
Jenny Farenbaugh scored in the 76th minute and Louisville High salvaged a 1-1 tie with Chaminade in a Mission League girls’ soccer game on Friday at Louisville.
Louisville (8-2-6, 0-1-1 in league play), ranked No. 4 in the region by The Times, missed several chances during two 10-minute overtimes.
Tara Donoghue scored for No. 5 Chaminade (11-4-2, 0-0-1).
Harvard-Westlake 3, Alemany 0--Imani Dorsey scored twice for the No. 2 Wolverines (11-2-2, 2-0) in a Mission League game at Harvard-Westlake.
Burroughs 2, Canyon 1--Deborah Mosombite scored with three minutes left to give the Indians (9-6, 2-0) a Foothill League victory at Canyon.
Agoura 4, Royal 0--Heather Sims had three goals for the Chargers (8-2, 4-0) in a Marmonte League game at Royal.
BOYS’ SOCCER
Chaminade 2, Crespi 0--Joe Dillon and Bryan Borreson scored for the Eagles (8-3, 1-0) in a Mission League game at Chaminade.
Burroughs 2, Canyon 1--Jeff Honicky and Marc Lima scored in a Foothill League game at Burbank (5-7-3, 1-0-1).
MENS’ BASKETBALL
King Oscar (Norway) 72, Cal Lutheran 58--Charlie Kundrat had 16 points but the Kingsmen (6-4) fell in the Cal Lutheran tournament.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
The Master’s 72, Texas Lutheran 68--Karen Gormley made a tie-breaking layup with 1:13 left in the Cal Lutheran tournament.
