Trabuco Hills 3, Dana Hills 1--Sarah Higuera scored twice for host Trabuco Hills (7-5, 1-1).

In the Serra League:

No. 4 Santa Margarita 4, Lakewood St. Joseph 1--Erin Egertson, Katie Rivera, Liz Bartlett and Jessica Haluck scored goals for Santa Margarita (11-3).

Rosary 2, Mater Dei 1--Shauna Rech’s goal on a crossing pass from freshman midfielder Amie Guisiana in the 65th minute broke a 1-1 tie for Rosary (9-6, 1-0).

In the Sunset League:

No. 7 Marina 2, Fountain Valley 1--Erin Droeger scored the winning goal with four minutes remaining for visiting Marina (12-5-2, 2-0). Heather Kindschi scored on a first-half free kick for the Vikings.

Lindsay Swancutt scored for Fountain Valley (3-5-2, 0-1-1).

No. 8 Edison 1, No. 9 Los Alamitos 1--Kristen Hamman scored the tying goal early in the second half for Edison (11-3-4, 0-1-1). Nicole Madonia scored an unassisted goal in the 26th minute for host Los Alamitos (7-4-2, 1-0-1).

In the Century League:

El Modena 3, Villa Park 0--Vicki Bloom scored two goals, one off a free kick and another on a penalty kick, for El Modena (8-4-2, 2-0).

Foothill 2, Canyon 1--Shannon Harrelson scored two goals, including the game-winner in the final minute to break a 1-1 tie for Foothill (2-7-5, 1-1). Canyon’s Leah Dawson tied the game with five minutes remaining. Canyon is 9-6-2, 1-1.

In the Freeway League:

Sunny Hills 7, Fullerton 1--Megan Broschak had two goals and three assists for Sunny Hills (12-4-1, 2-0).

In the Olympic League:

Orange Lutheran 1, Cerritos Valley Christian 1--Rachel Gerling scored in the sixth minute off an assist from Brooke Williams for host Orange Lutheran (3-4-3, 0-0-2). Valley Christian is 12-2-2, 1-0-1.

In nonleague girls’ water polo:

No. 10 El Toro 6, No. 1 Villa Park 1--El Toro’s Corie Kenagy and Stephenie Hand each scored two goals and teammate Keala Carter’s two-meter defense helped hold Villa Park senior Kristyn Pulver to one goal.

Villa Park (11-4) moved up to the top ranking in the county after winning the Newport Harbor tournament last weekend.

Goalie Amanda Deatherage had 10 saves for El Toro (6-6).
