Buckley hosts Providence at 7:30 tonight in a showdown of the top two boys’ teams in the Liberty League.

Buckley will charge admission for the first time this season, with all proceeds from admissions and concessions going toward a fund for the children of Paul Sutton, the former Providence coach and athletic director who died last August from colon cancer.

Coach Dave Montgomery of Hart noticed his team’s leading scorer, Liam Waters, did not make the regional boys’ leaders. After clarifying each column of statistics, the reason for the omission became clear.

Waters scored 377 points in the first 21 games for an average of 18.0, tying for 20th among Southern Section players.
