Misty May, of Newport Beach, and teammate Holly McPeak won two FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tournament matches Thursday to advance to the main draw of the $300,000 Mexico Open at Rosarito Beach. Eighth-seeded Karch Kiraly, of San Clemente, and Brent Doble, of Dana Point, lost to Dax Holdren and Todd Rogers.
