The longest game of the softball season took place Tuesday, and it had a little bit of everything.

Fourth-ranked Pacifica scored twice in the top of the 15th inning on Julie Jordan’s home run to defeat fifth-ranked Kennedy, 2-1, in a nonleague game at Cypress Arnold Park.

Jessica Marical pitched eight innings for the Mariners, but it was Kasey Carter who got the victory with six innings of relief. They gave up six hits, and together outdueled Kennedy sophomore Michelle Turner, who gave up 10 hits in 15 innings.
