In the Moreno Valley Valley View tournament:
Loara 2, No. 9 Rosary 1--Jenna Wheeler had the winning hit, a two-out, two-run double in the fourth for Loara in the title game.
Starter Alicia Owen went seven innings and gave up three hits, one walk and one run for the Saxons (8-1).
In the Raven tournament:
Liberty Christian 12, Woodcrest Christian 7 (6, time)--Crissy Davis had two hits, including a home run and five RBIs for Liberty Christian (3-1) in the second-round game.
In nonleague games:
La Quinta 10, Lakewood Artesia 0 (6, mercy)--Tamara Mauga went three for four, including a triple and a two-run home run in the fifth inning, and had four RBIs for host La Quinta (4-3-1).
