Chatsworth 13, Taft 3--Brett Munson had three hits and five runs batted in, and Matt Fisher had two doubles and two RBIs for the Chancellors (23-1-1, 14-0) in a West Valley League game at Chatsworth.
Sean Richards (8-1) allowed three hits and one run.
El Camino Real 19, Granada Hills 8--Conor Jackson had three hits, including a home run, and Bo Savage homered, singled and picked up the victory for El Camino Real (18-7, 11-3) in a West Valley League game at Granada Hills.
Hueneme 6, Oxnard 5--Jaime Martinez’s one-out home run in the seventh gave the Vikings (7-20, 3-9) the upset in a Pacific View League game at Hueneme.
Martinez had two of Hueneme’s six hits off Matt Merricks.
Village Christian 7, Paraclete 6--Jeremy Gonzales singled with the bases loaded and two out in the seventh to give the host Crusaders (15-5, 7-1) the Alpha League championship. It marked the first baseball league title for Village Christian in the school’s 50-year history.
Gonzales also tripled, doubled, drove in four runs and pitched a complete game to improve to 10-0.
Harvard-Westlake 7, Loyola 6--Chad Garson (7-3) set a school record with his 13th career victory for the host Wolverines (14-7, 5-7) in a Mission League game.
Crespi 8, Alemany 1--Clint Kofmehl (8-1) pitched a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts and also had two hits for Crespi in a Mission League finale at Alemany.
Brian Horwitz had four hits and scored two runs for Crespi (23-3-1).
Montclair Prep 9, Campbell Hall 5--Natsuki Maeda and Seth Epstein hit back-to-back home runs in the seventh inning for Montclair Prep (15-7, 8-2) in a Delphic League game at Campbell Hall.
Maeda (6-1), whose three-run homer broke a 5-5 tie, pitched a five-hitter.
