Woman, 45, Dies in Fall From Balcony
A 45-year-old woman who was alone at home drinking fell to her death from a third-story balcony in an apparent accident, officials said Tuesday.
Karen Chaney was seen drinking when she fell about 7 p.m. Sunday at her home in the 18100 block of American Beauty Drive, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department homicide investigator Richard Longshore.
“Witnesses said they saw her drinking,” Longshore said.
