Dana Hills 18, Murrieta Valley 0--Sophomore Kady Pooler and No. 2 Chelsy Thompson swept their singles matches, 6-0, for the second-seeded Dolphins (20-4), who will face Long Beach Wilson in a quarterfinal match Tuesday.

Long Beach Wilson 10, Los Alamitos 8--After the Griffins’ No. 1 doubles team of Michelle Oblonsky and Megan King defeated Wilson’s No. 3 team, Los Alamitos needed just one more victory from the No. 2 or No. 3 doubles teams to emerge victorious. Unfortunately for the Griffins (15-2), Wilson prevailed. Gia Nafarrete, the No. 1 singles player, and Melissa Selmanson, playing at No. 3, also won two of three for Los Alamitos.

In Division II:

Sunny Hills 17, La Mirada 1--Joanna Kao lost only one game in sweeping her singles matches to help put Sunny Hills (15-5) into a quarterfinal match against top-seeded Beverly Hills.

Troy 18, Simi Valley 0--Serena Fermin, Aya Sakoda and Calina Ciobanu combined to drop one game in a nine-set sweep of singles competition by second-seeded Troy (18-4), which will take on Villa Park in the quarterfinals.

University 15, Foothill 3--Visiting University (13-7) lost just six games in singles as the Trojans swept all three matches. Megan Biorkman, Aimee Kim and Salitha Sunderrajan were winners for the Trojans.

Woodbridge 18, Alhambra Mark Keppel 0--Susanna Lingman didn’t lose a game in helping the Warriors (18-4) to their second consecutive playoff shutout and into a quarterfinal match against Riverside North.

Villa Park 15, Cerritos 3--Sophomore Arti Iyer, playing in the No. 2 singles slot, swept her matches, 6-0, for the Spartans (13-6), who move on to a quarterfinal showdown with Troy.

In Division III:

El Dorado 13, El Monte Arroyo 5--Kim Dao and Jackie Mantegna swept their singles matches to help El Dorado (16-5) win on the road and advance to a quarterfinal match against Mater Dei.

Mater Dei 17, Covina Charter Oak 1--The singles corps of Jody Nygaard, junior Casey Knutson and freshman Carolina Velasco lost only one game for the second-seeded Monarchs (14-3), who will face El Dorado in a quarterfinal match.

Newport Harbor 17, La Serna 1--Playing in the No. 2 singles spot, freshman Diana Khoury swept, 6-0, 6-2, 6-0, for the third-seeded Sailors (15-2). Junior Carmen Khoury and Cheryl Dobson also swept at the No. 1 doubles slot for the Sailors, who will face Glendora St. Lucy’s in a quarterfinal match.

In Division IV:

Corona del Mar 18, Pacifica 0--Using 6-0 sweeps from top two singles players Anne Yelsey and Britanny Reitz, the Southern Section’s top-ranked team in Division IV blanked the visitors to improve to 21-2.

Northwood 14, Bolsa Grande 4--Gloriann Lopez lost just one game in singles for host Northwood (11-8), which faces Calabasas in a quarterfinal match.
