Yosemite def. La Canada, 15-3, 15-11, 15-17, 15-13--The Spartans staved off match point three times in the final two games before losing at Yosemite.
Vanessa Young had 19 kills, 11 blocks and 19 digs for La Canada (20-4). She finished with a school season record of 336 kills.
La Canada rallied from a 14-11 deficit to win the third game. Jennifer Gaudino had three kills and Kalee Heydorff had two kills to spark the rally. Heydorff finished with 19 kills and 22 digs.
