Canoga Park 27, Van Nuys 7--Josh Geiger rushed for 187 yards in 10 carries and scored on runs of eight, 75 and 75 yards for the Hunters (4-1) at Canoga Park.

Geiger’s third touchdown run gave Canoga Park a 20-0 lead early in the third quarter.

A third fumble by Van Nuys set up Geiger’s first touchdown run. The Wolves fumbled on three of their first six offensive plays.

The teams combined on eight turnovers. Van Nuys had five, Canoga Park three.

Van Nuys (0-5) avoided the shutout when Marshall Cooley scored on a four-yard run with 23 seconds remaining. Cooley finished with 97 yards in 20 carries.
